Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care works much like building a strong, stable house—without a solid blueprint, the foundation can’t support lasting strength or balance. At Cedar Mill Chiropractic, your chiropractor will take time to understand your specific needs and create a personalized treatment plan, or “blueprint,” to help relieve pain, restore movement, and promote long-term wellness. This customized chiropractic plan supports your body’s natural ability to heal and function at its best.

Phase 1: Pain Relief Care
Your first visit to our chiropractic clinic focuses on one priority—reducing pain and improving mobility. Whether you’re dealing with back pain, neck pain, headaches, or discomfort from auto accident injuries, the initial phase of care aims to calm inflammation, loosen tight muscles, and restore basic function.
Most patients visit the chiropractor two to three times per week for 4–12 weeks, depending on the severity of the condition. Many combine this phase with massage therapy or acupuncture to speed up healing and manage pain naturally.
Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care
Once your pain has decreased, we move into corrective care. This phase helps muscles, ligaments, and soft tissues heal properly so your body can support healthy alignment and prevent the same issue from returning.
During this stage of your chiropractic treatment, visits typically shift to 4–8 sessions per month over 6–24 months, depending on your overall health, lifestyle, and long-standing habits or injuries. Many patients continue combining chiropractic adjustments with therapeutic massage or targeted exercise recommendations to improve strength and stability.
Phase 3: Chiropractic Wellness Care
After your body has fully healed, ongoing chiropractic wellness care helps keep you feeling your best. Periodic adjustments support proper spinal alignment, reduce stress on the nervous system, and help prevent flare-ups of pain or stiffness.
Most patients visit their chiropractor 1–4 times per month, depending on activity level, posture habits, job demands, and personal wellness goals. Wellness care pairs well with routine massage therapy, acupuncture, and lifestyle guidance to maintain long-term balance.
